Maybe you actually CAN be too careful

I was driving home from work last night when Tom Petty's American Girl came on the radio. Thirty seconds in, I realized I was making a deliberate and conscious effort not to sing along. Because obviously if you're alone and driving and singing along to American Girl, when you get home you'll just have to deal with some scary handicapped dude parked in your driveway who needs your help loading a crappy sofa into the back of his van. And I think we all know how that ends.
